UC Riverside Baseball Youth Jersey Day – May 6, 2012

Parents, do your children play softball or baseball and are 8th grade and below? If so, UC Riverside Baseball has a game for you! The Highlanders are hosting a youth jersey day on Sunday, May 6, and all kids 8th grade and below will be admitted for FREE by wearing their youth team baseball or softball jersey. Plus, stay after the game for an autograph session with the entire UC Riverside Baseball team.

UC Riverside hosts Cal State Northridge on Sunday, May 6 at 1 p.m. at the Riverside Sports Complex. The Highlanders are the only Division I university in the Inland Empire and are a part of the Big West Conference.  The Riverside Sports Complex is home to Highlanders Baseball, and is located on the corner of Blaine and Rustin on the edge of campus.

Sunday is always Fun Day at the Riverside Sport Complex.  Each Sunday after the game, kids 8th grade and below can run the bases just like the Highlanders! This Sunday is no different, and there’s even another perk—there will be an autograph session with the entire UC Riverside Baseball team following the run the bases! Also, be sure to stop by the concession stand, as a Sunday Fun Day staple includes BBQ burgers available for purchase.

For more information, check out gohighlanders.com or call 951-827-4653. The Highlanders hope to see you at the game!
