The southland’s premier New Year’s Eve electronic dance party, Together As One, is fast upon us! I speak from experience when I tell you that this has been *the* place to be on New Year’s Eve for the past 13 years in a row. But, don’t just take my word for it. The lineup speaks for itself. Come ring in 2012 with Duck Sauce, Diplo, Bloody Beetroots, Chromeo, Dirty South, Felix Da Housecat, Funkagenda, DJReza & Junior Sanchez!
Gone are the days when finding an electronic dance party meant joining an underground email list, collecting crumpled up fliers, and following notches on trees to clandestine, often sketchy locations. Together is One will be hosted this year in spectacular Oak Canyon Park in the Santiago Canyon region of Silverado, CA. This represents a shift from Together As One’s traditional venue, the Los Angeles Sports Arena. However, if anything, the party will be even better than ever as participants dance the night away under the stars.
Per usual, Together As One will be an 18 and up event with a full bar available from 5pm to 2am for those with appropriate identification. In addition, there will be multiple entrances which will provide speedy access to the event, a smoking area, food and drink concessions, and a friendly staff to direct you toward your favorite act or mixed drink. And, as though you needed another reason to attend, there will be a choreographed electronic light and music countdown to 2012. This is always my favorite part of the evening; feeling the tension build through the countdown and explode as the crowd dances in the new year.
So, what are you waiting for? Surf on over to GrooveTickets or NewYearsEveLA and buy your general admission pass for $60, $70, or $80 (price increases as the event nears) or buy a VIP pass for $125 or $150. You will NOT find a better value on New Years Eve anywhere in Southern California. Given the talent that GoVentures has managed to wrangle up and the absolutely amazing atmosphere that is guaranteed to be created at Together as One, you cannot beat the prices. So, what are you waiting for? Go buy tickets your and I’ll see you there! Also, don’t forget to check back here at ThingsToDoInlandEmpire for my post event wrap-up.
