Looking for the most extreme musical event of the summer? Then look no further and prepare yourself for The Power of the Riff Festival at the Echoplex on August 11’th! The Echo and Echoplex are well known for bringing underground tunes to happy hipsters in L.A and surrounding areas, but for an entire day the Echoplex is devoting itself to bringing out some of the most extreme local (and non-local) metal bands that Southern California has to offer. This is a crusty, metal purist’s dream.
The big name at The Power of the Riff Festival is the enigmatic Sunn O))), which is really just icing on the crusty cake.
