4th Annual Taste of the IE -May 18, 2012

We’ve been saying the Inland Empire has great food for a while, and now they are going to prove it. On May 18th between 6 and 9pm, the City of Upland is presenting the “4th Annual Taste of the IE”.

On “A” Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenue, “Discover Upland” will be laying out a smorgasbord of amazing edibles and delectable delights. And where can I find these eateries away from the event? All business operate out of the Inland Empire, so you are not limited to just enjoying the food for one night!

Some of the restaurants that will be featured are Johnsons Hotdogs, Qdoba Mexican Grill, Louies Chicken & Fish Grill, Claro’s Italian Market, Le Bistro, and The Pizza Factory. Maniac Mikes Café will also be there. This cute café is located right on the Upland Air Field so you can watch small planes take off as you enjoy lunch.

Have a sweet tooth? Try Cold Stones, Dolce Bakery & Café, or {Desi}gn Cakes & Cupcakes.  Dolce Bakery & Café has an impressive line of pastries and custom cakes. Start a cupcake wars showdown with your friends and declare your own winner!

Since is this an adults-only event, bring on the alcohol! Check out Pacific Wine Merchants, Dale Bros Brewery, and the Cucamonga Brewing Company. Local favorite Hanger 24 Brewery just confirmed their attendance! Hanger 24 Bewery has an impressive line of beers, both seasonal and year round. Go in for a tasting and discover a new favorite.

Tickets to this event are $35/ticket and benefit the Upland Chamber of Commerce and local non-profit organizations. Please call the Upland Chamber of Commerce at (909) 204-4465 to purchase tickets.
