2011 marked another successful sold out Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival in Indio. Goldenvoice brought down some of the best artists of our time to Riverside County’s scenic CoachellaValley. However, the heat wave that hit Southern California that same weekend left many scrambling for shade, cooling tents and plenty of water to survive this epic event.

The Salton Sea is essentially a man-made, engineering eco-disaster. It was originally a salt basin, which then flooded about 100 years ago. The Salton Sea grew into a hugely popular tourist attraction for the Hollywood jet setting crowd of the 1920s, though today, the Salton Sea is mostly deserted.
