The Summer Slaughter Tour 2012 on August 25 at the Grove in Anaheim is a great way to commemorate a summer full of extreme musical festivals. This summer the tour has been making its rounds throughout North America and Southern California is fortunate to have this amazing line-up making a stop in Anaheim. The roster is a metal head’s dream with Cannibal Corpse headlining plus support from some amazing established and very talented up-and-coming bands. Be sure to get your tickets as soon as possible because the Grove of Anaheim is a spacious, yet intimate venue. Definitely be sure to get to the festival early and show some support for the up-and-coming acts including the local Inland Empire bands such as Sangre who have been making some waves in the local metal scene after a successful run with the Mayhem tour. The Summer Slaughter Festival always brings a fantastic line-up and this year promises to be the best yet. The Summer Slaughter founder, Ash Avildsen, describes this year’s tour: “Without a doubt, this is the biggest year in the history of the tour. We are honored to have such an incredible, diverse group of musicians all on the same bill. It’s brutal, classic, progressive, fresh and still the most extreme tour of the year. Drink lots of water before you show up and get ready to rage!” Sounds like a great time that’s not to be missed!
