St. Patrick, the great saint of green beer and senseless partying, will bestow amazing fun upon the Inland Empire in 2012! Want to know where the best St. Patrick’s Day parties in the Inland Empire are at? We’ve got your list in 2012, just like we did in 2011. In 2012, St. Patty’s Day falls on Saturday, March 17, so you have no excuse not to party hard!
- Killarney’s Riverside St. Patrick’s Day – BEST IN THE INLAND EMPIRE
- This year, they’ll be taking over even more of the parking lot, with 2 stages, live bands all day, pipers, Irish dancers, Irish games, merchandise, outside bars, an ice luge and Hangar 24 beer truck! It’s the biggest party in the IE. Last year was and will be hard to beat, but this event keeps growing and will be even bigger this year! Check out pics from last year. Beware of the long lines- show up early and stay inside. In 2012, we hear the The McKintree Boys will be playing their Irish music, though perhaps only at the Temecula location.
The party starts with Keg’s -n- Eggs @ 8 AM For $25, you eat and drink the morning away with Packinghouse Brewery, Beer Magazine and Killarney’s hosting from 8 – 11am. We will have live music starting @ 10 AM and going until late in the evening. As usual, we will have a mix of Irish bands and local rock, as well as Pipers throughout the day! DJ’s will end the night with the best party happening in the IE (we can attest to how packed it was last year).- Other activities include a free raffle with over 50 prizes throughout the day (*must be picked up on 3/17/2012) – Grand Prize = free dinner once a week for the year, face painting, outside festival type games (remember Keg Bowling @ Oktoberfest?!?!), Shopping with local vendors, local tattoo shop on site, Irish food, beer, beer, and more beer!
- Find more info from our full article and from their Facebook event!
- Killarney’s Temecula will also be incredible! Click here for more info!
Hangar 24 Brewery – Redlands- Hangar dropped some hints about their Saint Patrick’s Day 2012 party asking about a good Irish band. They’ve since announced on Facebook that there will be a big event in their tasting room with a Nitro Small Stout, and an “Irish Coffee” Cask, as well as food throughout the day and live music in the afternoon. Strange Brew will perform @ 2pm and The Overeasy is on from 4-7pm.
- Salted Pig – Riverside
- Another favorite from last year. If you’d prefer a nice bar with a place to sit, rather than being packed in, this is your spot.
- Insomniac’s Beyond Wonderland 2012 – San Bernardino
- Insomniac is planning Beyond Wonderland on St. Patrick’s Day. The location of this electronic music festival will be at the National Orange Show (NOS) Fairgrounds, a SoCal treasure for large festivals in our backyard of San Bernardino.
Los Angeles County Irish Fair & Music Festival 2012 – Fairplex in Pomona- Looking for a little “Luck o’ the Irish?” Maybe you’ll find it at the Los Angeles County Irish Fair and Music Festival! On March 10th & 11th, 2012 the Pomona Fairplex will have 7 stages with over 2,000 performers…so even if you’re not Irish, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy! Check out our full preview!
- Blue Mountain Beer Co. – Grand Terrace – March 17
- Live music performers and festive food throughout the day, including a fiddler which featuring Irish music who will begin his performance at 4:00 p.m.
- Los Rios Rancho in Oak Glen
- March 10 at 7pm – Live Irish music & dancing. Lessons for those of new to Irish dancing will take place at 6:30 pm. The Los Rios deli will open early at 6pm and will feature a traditional Irish feast of Corned Beef & Cabbage. Tickets are $10 per person, and for a family of 4, we have a special ticket price of just $30!
Wild Rocket – Redlands- This newly opened gastropub is advertising a downstairs pub and upstairs club on March 17, but don’t expect anything too classy from this fine dining establishment! They’ll have beer pong and flip cup games going on the second floor, as well as a best dressed Irish gal and guy contest to watch while you enjoy your Irish brunch or dinner. Oh, and that Nitro Small Stout that Hangar will have? They’ll have it too!
- Margarita Beach – San Bernardino
- St. Patrick’s Day Party and Beer Pong Tournament
- Dickie O’Neal’s Irish Pub – Palm Springs
- Music, games, specials, food and much more!
