Planning is already underway for the 2012 Tour de Perris bicycle ride as a team of City employees strives to top the success of last year’s inaugural event by doubling the number of participants and using funds generated by the fall ride to fund Perris recreation efforts.
Stage 7 of the Amgen Tour of California will be the ultimate test of the rider’s resolve to capture the Amgen Leader Jersey as it winds throughout the Inland Empire from Ontario to high atop Mt. Baldy on Saturday, May 19.
Ready to travel south of the border? With 10,000 riders, the largest bicycle rides in the west is exactly the excuse you’ve been looking for. This award-winning 50 mile bicycle ride will begin at Rosarito Beach along the Pacific Coast and inland through rural countryside from, ending on at the Ensenada waterfront with food, drinks and live music until sunset.
Riverside Citrus Classic Bike Ride will take over the city on Sunday, October 9th, 2011. For one day, cars will be taking a “back seat” to these two wheeled vehicles.
