The Highlanders 2013 regular season begins at the Palm Springs Baseball Tournament from February 15-18 (View the entire 2013 Baseball schedule).

Season tickets are now available for purchase online and single game tickets are also on sale.

Day one of the Palm Springs Tournament sees UCR square off against West Coast Conference member Gonzaga at 6 pm PT. On Saturday, February 16, the Highlanders take on Utah Valley of the Great West Conference at 5 pm.

2012 NCAA Tournament participant Oregon State is UC Riverside’s opponent for the final two days of the tournament—at 2 pm on Sunday, February 17 and at 8:30 am on Monday, February 18.

Prior to the Palm Springs Tournament, UCR will host its annual Alumni Day on Saturday, February 9. First pitch is slated for 1 pm PT at the Riverside Sports Complex.

Saint Mary’s is the opponent for UCR’s regular season home debut as the Gaels travel to the Inland Empire for a three-game series from March 1-3.

The non-conference home schedule also includes games against Loyola Marymount (March 5, 6 pm), San Diego State (April 2, 6 pm; May 7, 6 pm), UNLV (April 16, 3 pm) and 2012 NCAA Tournament participant San Diego (May 14, 6 pm) .

Big West Conference play gets underway for the Highlanders on Friday, March 28 with a three-game home series vs. UC Irvine. Last year’s conference champion, Cal State Fullerton, comes to the Riverside Sports Complex for three games from May 10-12.

The Highlanders’ regular season comes to an end with a three-game homestand vs. Hawai’i from May 23-25.

The Highlanders are celebrating Heroes Day against Cal State Bakersfield on Saturday, April 14 at 6 pm at the Riverside Sports Complex. All police, firefighters, EMS and military members will be admitted to the game for FREE, and will receive one FREE guest ticket.

The Highlanders are the only Division I university in the Inland Empire and are a part of the Big West Conference.  This game is part of a three game non-conference series against the Roadrunners.

The Riverside Sports Complex is home to Highlanders Baseball, and is located on the corner of Blaine and Rustin on the edge of campus.

UC Riverside hosts Cal State Northridge on Sunday, May 6 at 1 p.m. at the Riverside Sports Complex. The Highlanders are the only Division I university in the Inland Empire and are a part of the Big West Conference.  The Riverside Sports Complex is home to Highlanders Baseball, and is located on the corner of Blaine and Rustin on the edge of campus.

Sunday is always Fun Day at the Riverside Sport Complex.  Each Sunday after the game, kids 8^th grade and below can run the bases just like the Highlanders! This Sunday is no different, and there’s even another perk—there will be an autograph session with the entire UC Riverside Baseball team following the run the bases! Also, be sure to stop by the concession stand, as a Sunday Fun Day staple includes BBQ burgers available for purchase.

This farm team for the San Diego Padres shows off some great baseball talent. The Storm play at the Lake Elsinore Diamond, which we think is one of the nicest stadiums in Southern California. The stadium features a “single large concourse with a full view of the sunken playing field.” This means all concessions above the seated area so you’ll never miss a play.

Our pick for the the best game of the 2012 season is Major League Baseball in the IE! Yes, the Kansas City Royals play the San Diego Padres live in San Diego on April 4!
