Goldenvoice & KROQ present Social Distortion at the legendary Fox Theatre in Pomona on Friday, Feb. 17 and Saturday, Feb. 18, 2011, with Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls & Sharks. [UPDATE: Feb. 17 show sold out. Feb. 18 show added.]

Social D, as they’re often called, is a punk band famously headed by vocalist Mike Ness. Formed in late 1970s in Orange County, they’re often thought of as one of the founding bands to established the OC and So Cal punk rock style.

Social Distortion at Fox PomonaThe band’s self-titled album released in 1990 has been their most successful to date, with punk anthems Story of My Life, Ball and Chain and more continuing on as hits for decades.

Tickets go on sale Friday, December 2 at noon. At just $35 a ticket, expect these to go fast.  When purchasing tickets, choose either general admission floor standing room only or general admission balcony seating. Access to the pit is limited in number. Wristbands are only available to GA Floor ticket holders and will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Once all wristbands are distributed no more will be allocated for that show.

Doors will open at 7pm, with the show starting at 8pm. The event is all ages.
