Scrapbook Expo at the Ontario Convention Center

Calling all passionate crafters in the Inland Empire!!!  Scrapbook Expo will be at the Ontario Convention Center this weekend Oct. 12 & 13, 2012.  Anyone with a passion for scrapbooking and other paper crafts or who has an interest in learning more about crafting will find something to do at Scrapbook Expo.  This is a place to shop, try out new products and techniques, and attend workshops designed for beginners to advanced crafters.

Retailers are selling the newest, trendiest and most unique items used in paper crafting from major manufacturers as well as boutique manufacturers. Admission is $9.00 at the door, but several local retailers offer $2.00 off coupons.  Shopping hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM.

During the evenings, Scrapbook Expo holds Crop Parties, hosting up to 250 women who bring a their own supplies (or those just purchased at the Expo vendor floor), and hang out with their girlfriends for a good time.  In addition, each crop has a  tool station for consumers to print photos or cut shapes or fashion paper in any number of ways.  They may also win a prize during the many raffles taking place throughout the Crop Party.

Opportunities to use new paper crafting products at Scrapbook Expo starts right at the door with a free box of Glue Dots!  Next, there is our Creativity Center where free make & take projects are taught all day long.  A variety of classes are also taught for an additional fee.  These range from very hands-on new techniques to just learning about “What’s Hot.”

Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned scrapbooker, Scrapbook Expo is a place and time to gather, work together, meet new friends, learn new techniques and find the latest and greatest in craft products.
