This map and list of the breweries in San Diego should provide you with a great tour of the beer in the region!

Stone Brewery – Garden

While San Diego may seem far, a close observation of the San Diego beer scene reveals that there are plenty of breweries in North County San Diego that will give you plenty of fun for a full or half day adventure. While downtown San Diego is 100 miles away, the famous Stone Brewery is just 72 miles, shaving 60 miles off your day trip. We’ve highlighted the North County Breweries to make your trip easier.

Of course, make sure you have a designated driver, pace your drinking, drink water and enjoy food while tasting. All of these will make sure your day of fun doesn’t turn into a less than memorable experience. There are also plenty of hotels, both upscale and inexpensive to make this into a great weekend and avoid any drive back.
