Paid Dues 2012 Review/Photos/Pics

Paid Dues 2012 Review / Photos / Pics – April 7th, 2012 – San Bernardino National Orange Show (NOS) Events Center

Paid Dues 2012 at the National Orange Show Event Center (NOS) turned out to be one of the ultimate musical experiences ever. What could be better than seeing hip hop legends Wu-Tang Clan, Three 6 Mafia, People Under the Stairs, Odd Future, Hieroglyhpics, Mac Miller, Living Legends, and Dipset? The fact that Guerilla Union got all of these great acts and more to perform at one event really tells you how much they care about music and hip hop fans all around.

Speaking of Guerrila Union, I have to say how impressed I was with how well run this event was. A lot of times  festivals can have a feeling of disorganization and confusion but Guerilla Union really cut a lot of that out by making everything so accessible and user friendly. At no point did I have to wonder where an artist was or when they were playing. It was nice knowing that they took every precaution to  make sure fans have the ultimate experience.

The artists themselves seemed to be having as much fun as the audience. Wu-Tang got their entire audience jumping up and down and throwing up the Wu-Tang symbol. I don’t know if it was possible for their audience to have a better time or to enjoy themselves more!

The same can honestly be said about pretty much every performer. Every show that I stopped into had the same amount of energy and joy that you could possibly expect from a concert. People Under the Stairs really killed it onstage and had the Dues Paid stage packed with screaming fans hearing SoCal hip hop at its finest. Later on in the day when Three 6 Mafia came onstage the entire crowd lost control and it felt like a party was going on and Three 6 was playing Dj. It was one of the most amazing musical experiences to be witnessing. There were so many amazing artist at Paid Dues 2012 that I felt like a kid in a candy store. It seemed like any stage you went to the audience couldn’t get enough.

Thess One

But that’s what really strikes me about Guerilla Union, they truly care about their fans and how much they enjoy their events. I can’t stress this enough, I have never felt more relaxed at a festival like I have when Guerilla Union is hosting it. Food, drinks, beer, and first aid are all available and not far from site at any point during the event. Little things like that help you to really experience the music and keeps the event focused on fun. Paid Dues 2012 was one of the best possible experiences you could hope for at a concert. I would strongly suggest anyone who likes music to keep an eye out on Things to Do Inland Empire for all Guerilla Union events like Smoke Out and Rock the Bells!  Guerilla Union truly cares about music fans as much as they care about music. It’s a win win for everyone.

Paid Dues Helps Habitat for Humanity (Feb. 15, 2012)

If you can’t wait for Paid Dues and you also like helping out others then this might be up your alley! Paid Dues and Habitat for Humanity LA are teaming up again on Saturday, March 12th to help out families in need. Volunteers will get to spend time with Guerilla union and Murs to help build homes for those families in need. The registration is only $250 and it comes with some great incentives besides helping out others. But be warned that space is limited and you should register earlier than later! For registering and helping out you’ll be receiving: a VIP ticket to Paid Dues, a commemorative Paid Dues Habitat for Humanity Project T-Shirt, an autographed limited edition 18×24 Paid Dues poster. This is the 2nd time that the two groups have teamed up and last year they all had a blast. Check out the video and see for yourself!

One more thing, if you can’t donate your time, you can still donate funds to help out Habitat for Humanity LA. They provide lots of families with homes and offer a hand up not a hand out. It’s a great cause and all donations go towards helping out others in times of need.
