Oktoberfest 2012 in the Inland Empire presents no shortage of opportunities to wash down your pretzels with beer, brats and dancing throughout Riverside and San Bernardino counties!
Big Bear is hands down the most talked about Oktobfest in the I.E. As I.E. Weekly reports, you might as well be in Germany, as this festival will include the chicken dance, lederhosen, polka, more polka, sauerkraut, bratwurst, cleavage, bouncers and a petting zoo. Hangar 24 Oktoberfest in Redlands
The Optimist Club of Redlands presents the Hangar 24 Oktoberfest. True to traditional German style, the family-friendly Oktoberfest will include customary food, music, games and of course, Hangar 24 Craft Brewery’s 2012 Oktoberfest beer.
Last year’s food vendors included The Stockyard, Mill Creek, Johnny’s Tacos, and Kiddoughs Bakery. Music will be provided by The Rheinlanders, a traditional 5-piece Polka Band, and games include stein holding contest, yodeling contest and many others.
Attendees are encouraged to join in the spirit of Oktoberfest and wear their lederhosen and dirndls or any other traditional attire. Expect special Hangar 24 Oktoberfest t-shirts available for sale. One liter Hangar 24 Oktoberfest steins will also be sold at the event.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Optimist Club of Redlands. The event will be held on September 22nd, 2012 from 11am – 6pm at Sylvan Park, Redlands, CA, located at the corner of Colton Avenue and University Street (view map).
