Endgame- Warriors of the Apocalypse- (Expanded maze!)“The world as we know it has ended. The survivors in this barren desert have scavenged to rebuild society. The rich and the powerful have turned all others into slaves for sport. Enter the post apocalyptic arena where gladiators are forced to battle to their deaths for entertainment. Are you game?”
Dominion Of The Dead- (New!)“ Welcome to the return of Dominion where creatures create art and music so beautiful the human mind cannot fully comprehend. Uncle Willy’s Slaughter House (Expanded!)-“ Folks near and far come a-runnin’ for Farmer Willy’s world famous BBQ! Guests are welcome to venture through the Slaughterhouse where Uncle Willy will feed them full of BBQ, slather them with special sauce, tenderize them with his chainsaw and grind them into a tasty treat. Bone appetite!”
Trapped (Reservation only, private maze)- “This reservation only, interactive maze leads guests into an abyss of their deepest fears and phobias. You are part of the horror and an active participant in your own demise. Do you have the courage to enter a nightmare designed exclusively for you and face the challenge of finding an escape? Remember there are no doors in this nightmare. *Additional fee applies.”
Evil Dead (The Log Ride!)- “Based on the upcoming film, which is set for theatrical release April 2013, you and your friends ride through the woods to an isolated cabin where you discover the secrets of The Book of the Dead. Knotts Scary Farm also has an impressive line of live shows. Grab a drink from the numerous beer gardens (some with “club style” atmosphers) and check out the “Blood Drums” in the Necropolis Theatre, the “Cursed” Gypsy Dancers in the Gypsy Camp, “Ed Alonzo’s Fun House” (insane pyscho-sensory magic) in the Charles M. Shulz Theatre,” Mephisto’s Mechanical Mayhem”, a crazy vampiric inventor in Necropolis, the “Midnight Witching Hour”, witch hangings at midnight in Calico Square which tie into “The Hanging Games”, “The Tonga Tiki Terror” a Tonga creature who haunts the Broadway Ballroom, “Unearthed”, stories of phantoms of the Haunt told in the Mystery Lodge, and “Zamora’s Sideshow of Torture” (if you have the stomach for it!) at the Bird Cage Theatre.
The theme this year is the “Green Witch”, a woman who was accused and killed for witchcraft in Calico. She has (of course!) returned and is seeking vengeance! Perhaps you’ll catch a glimpse of her on your travels, but beware! We have no idea what horrors she has in store for us…
Haunt dates for 2012: Sept. 21-22 and 27-30 and Oct. 4-7, 11-14, 18-21, 25-28 and 30-31. Hours: 7PM- 1AM Sunday, Thursday, Tuesday, and Halloween. 7PM-2AM Friday and Saturday. No costumes! Tickets are $36-52, depending on date.
