If it’s the first Friday of the month (well, our first Friday, anyway), it must be time for another Wine-01 class on the basics on wine. This month, we’ll be examining some up-and-coming white wines starting to make their presence felt on wine lists and in wine shops around the world (including right here at Chris Kern’s Forgotten Grapes), but still considered relatively unknown to many wine lovers: Viognier, Roussanne, Chenin Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Grüner Veltliner, Albarino, and Semillon. Come explore the next wave of great white wines and get to know them before your wine-loving friends.
