The Hootenanny is already looking as good as it always does, especially with Rancid playing their 2oth anniversary show there, but it looks like it just got a little bit better. They have just added Jonny Two Bags (From Social Distortion) and Salvation town to their already impressive lineup.
This year’s lineup is going to be something else and music isn’t the only thing they have going for them. There will be the cars on display and plenty of vendors for the moments in between your favorite bands. If you weren’t already excited about Hootenanny then you need to be. They’ve been at this for eighteen years and something tells me that they have the method down perfect. This year is going to be just as great as any other and even more so with Rancid playing their 20th Anniversary show! What all of this means is that you need to get your Hootenanny tickets as soon as you possibly can. It’s going to be something else.
Make sure you keep Saturday, July 7th open because the good folks over at Goldenvoice have announced this years acts at Hootenanny! This year Hootenanny is going to be in Irvine again at Oak Canyon Ranch. This year is going to be something extra special for all you Rancid fans out there.
Hootenanny 2012 will be celebrating “The unearthly sound that is Rancid” on their twenty years of making amazing music. That’s not the only thing that they have going for them, not by a long shot. They also have the legendary Reverend Horton Heat, Lucero, and Bouncing Souls all slated to perform plus many more.
Currently Goldenvoice has tickets available from $39.50-$99.50, so they’ve got big and small budgets covered. What’s most important is getting people out this year to see amazing musicians spanning genres of music. And just in case you’re sitting on the fence about whether or not to go, take a look at our coverage from last year and take a look at how amazing this is going to be!
