Fourth of July Celebrations & Fireworks Riverside County 2011

Fourth of JulyIndependence Day, America’s birthday – a celebration of freedom, democracy and independence.  It is a day to exhibit our unwavering patriotism and honor our country.

From four days of celebration of self-government in Jurupa Valley, to America’s pastime in Lake Elsinore and Palm Springs, to skydivers and auto races in Perris and countless barbeques, there will be plenty of wonderful celebrations for families to enjoy.  (* indicates a cost involved)

With gratitude to the fine men and women who continue to protect our country, below is a list of Fourth of July happenings across Riverside County:

  Friday, July 1

*JURUPA VALLEY – Birth of California’s Newest City
VFW (8607 Mission Blvd.), Patriot High School (4355 Camino Real), Indian Hills Golf Club (5700 Club House Dr.)
Prayer breakfast at VFW 7 a.m., first official City Council meeting at Patriot High School 4:30 p.m., Celebration Evening of Fun and Festivities 8-11 p.m.

Concert by the Riverside County Philharmonic Orchestra and fireworks display.  A tribute to veterans, the Concert for Heroes is the only symphonic concert staged at a national cemetery

*LAKE ELSINORE – Lake Elsinore Storm vs. Rancho Cucamonga Quakes 6:05 p.m. with Post-Game Fireworks Blowout
The Diamond, 500 Diamond Dr.
Root the Storm to victory against their I-15 rivals, the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, then stay for the most incredible fireworks show in the region as the Storm will help light up the skies at The Diamond.  The Storm will be auctioning off their camouflage jerseys during the game
