Five Guys Burgers and Fries – Inland Empire

Update from Things To Do Inland Empire (Feb. 4. 2011): This review was mentioned on the home page of Five Guys.

Five Guys Temecula Review Dated Feb. 2, 2011. Updated September 11, 2011.

Nestled at the corner of  a strip mall at Margarita and Winchester roads, Five Guys Burgers and Fries is one of the Inland Empire’s more notable burger joints.

The Virginia-based burger chain received instant national fame when President Barack Obama made a surprise visit to one shortly after taking office.

With a simple menu of burgers, fries, peanuts and hot dogs, Five Guys can be counted on to give In-N-Out a run for its money.

Five Guys - La Quinta - ToppingsOn a recent Saturday afternoon, Five Guys was bustling with activity with a line that stretched dozens of feet from the cash registers. Loud and busy, the restaurant’s decor – a red and white theme – suggests a simple brand of Americana with baskets of peanuts everywhere.

The burgers come with either a single (little) or double patty wrapped in foil, and the fries (regular or cajun) come in a large paper cup and are tasty and crunchy. The hamburgers are nothing short of juicy and come at a hefty size. In short, if you come to the Inland Empire, a trip to Five Guys in Temecula is a must, or soon, to many other locations!

What we need around here is a Tommy’s Original Burgers! (Besides the one in Corona)

If it’s phony enough for Obama, it’s phony enough for all his dupes.

Everyone has a place that makes the best burger, Fiveguys is nationwide, give them their “Prop’s”. Here where I’m live you can’t get a better Burger & Beer than “THE HUB BAR& GRILL” a1’2lb hand finnished Cheeseburger I add Bacon raw onions, and sliced tomatos on the side, and a 30 oz draft beer, for just over $10.00. if they just did their fries fresh like the Fiveguys it would be perfect, but alas they use frozen shoestrings.
