Stuck on where to take the kids Easter Egg Hunting? Here are a few ideas!

March 17th-April 7th-

IrvineIrvine Park Railroad -This exciting Easter egg hunt will include eggs filled with candy, stickers, free train tickets, and more! Children will be separated by age group for each Easter egg hunt. Each Easter egg hunt will be limited to a certain number of children so that all children can find Easter eggs. Children may bring their own Easter basket or Irvine Park Railroad will offer Easter baskets available for purchase. Plan to arrive early for this popular event.

March 31, 2012 –

Riverside- Cesar Chavez (Bobby Bonds) Park – Begins at 10am!  Kids — Bring your baskets! And for parents we’ll have a variety free entertainment and health-related information, including fitness demos; free health glucose, dental, blood pressure, and many more screenings; and music by Titus Entertainment.

Riverside- Orange Terrace Park – Begins at 10am! Egg Hunt, arts & crafts, music, and fun!

Riverside – -Reid Park-Begins at 10am! Easter Egg hunt, music, and crafts!

RiversideDowntown – Easter Eggstravaganza begins at 12pm.  Meet the Easter bunny, face painting, balloon artists, music, “water wars”, and “dress like a peep” contest.

April 6, 2012-

ArcadiaEisenhower Park- Begins at 8pm. Great Egg Race nighttime egg hunt for middle and high school students is a hugely successful, fun celebration for older kids who like to have fun.  Find the “Golden Eggs” to win the BIG Prizes!  The event is open to ALL middle school and high school aged participants. Bring all of your friends for a fun filled egg hunt celebrated TEEN STYLE!! Bring a flashlight & something to carry your eggs in!

April 7, 2012-

Arcadia Arcadia County Park – Begins at 11 am. Spring Egg-Stravaganza at Arcadia County Park is for kids from pre-kinder – 5th grade. The annual event invites all parents to bring their kids on Saturday morning for a  fantastic egg hunt. The event will offer separate sections for children to hunt for eggs. There will also be a parent supervised area available for children of mixed ages.

Brea- Arovista Park. Be there at 7:30 for the 9am start. It’s almost time again for the fastest project known to man, when hundreds of parents with kids in tow vacuum the fields at Arovista Park of candy, eggs, and the stuff little creatures in the park leave at night.

Chino HillsCommunity Park – Begins at 11am. Hop on down the bunny trail and join us for an “Eggstra-Special” day filled with adventures and surprises at the Annual Easter Egg-Citement event.

Diamond Bar- Pantera Park- Begins at 10am- This popular hunt for colorful candy-filled eggs is free and open to children toddler-aged through sixth grade. A pancake breakfast will be provided by the Fire Explorers Post 19 starting at 8:30am for $5 a plate, with the Easter Bunny and his “Peeps” arriving shortly after to dole out hugs and pose for photos.

GlendoraFinkbiner Park. Begins at 10am. Special prizes will be awarded for the Golden Egg.

Lake Elsinore McVicker Family Canyon Park. Begins at 10am. Free activities, entertainment, food, drink, bouncers, petting zoo and the Easter Bunny!

Murrieta- Mulligan Family Fun Center  Breakfast with the bunny is 9-11am. Egg hunt on the mini golf course begins at 10am.

Norco – Wayne Makin Sports Complex- Begins at 10am. The event is free of charge and is for children ages 1-11 years old.

Palm Desert- The Living Desert –Begins at 9am. Celebrating both Earth Day and Easter,this daytime event offers a fantastic spring fling for families. Visits from the Easter bunny (in his very own Easter Garden) are paired with free carousel rides, face painting, jelly bean counting contest, live music, eco-crafts, green vendors, ashleys, and more. Kids can make their own Easter baskets out of recycled materials, search for sweets at our GIANT Easter Egg hunt, and learn about all kinds of animal eggs at the Discovery Center. Don’t forget to bring a recycled item (bottle, phone, can) in exchange for an incredible desert plant at our Garden Booth.

South El Monte South El Monte Community Center- Begins at 10am. $2/person. Breakfast, Easter Egg Hunt, face painting, and a visit from Peter Cottontail.;

TemeculaHarveston Community Park – Begins at 10am! Come prior to the hunt and bounce in the fun jump, dance to the music and have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny.  Don’t forget to bring a basket to collect your goodies.  Egg Hunt is for kids’ 1-11 years

UplandMemorial Park – Begins at 9am. The Upland Foothill Kiwanis will be serving up their delicious pancakes, sausage and beverages at their Annual Breakfast with the Bunny. Enjoy your meal either before or after the Spring Egg Hunt. The Bunny will be available for pictures taken by you with your camera. Pre-registration is strongly suggested.

Other Easter Events in the Inland Empire and Southern California

BKnotts Chickenuena Park- Knott’s Berry Farm, known for their fresh and flavorful food, will be offering an expansive brunch this Easter. On Sunday, April 8, Knott’s chefs will be preparing a buffet for guests that will have something for every member of the family from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The Knott’s Easter Brunch will include a breakfast station featuring made to order omelets, Belgium waffles, and cheese blintzes with Boysenberry sauce. If we listed the entire menu, they’d probably sell out and you’d probably start getting hungry before the event!

Guests to Knott’s Easter Brunch can choose their location – Mrs. Knott’s ChickenDinner Restaurant, Spurs Chophouse or Wilderness Dance Hall, all of which will be decorated for the holiday.
