Dripp, Chino Hills

Dripp Coffee Bar at The Shoppes in Chino Hills is a relatively new joint, opened in November 2011, that offers customers both a cool place to hang out and amazing coffee. As soon as you walk into the coffee bar you’re greeted with decorative menus that initiate the feel of the whole business. Everything from the lighting to the espresso machines were meticulously thought out by the owner, Rabhi, who decided that he would leave no stone left unturned in making the perfect coffee bar.

A lot of the time coffee places tend to focus on making their place look as cool as possible with little attention to coffee. Instead, Dripp decided to make sure they equipped the best possible equipment, coupled with the best beans (Intelligentsia and Espresso Republic), to make both a spot to hang out and nerd out over coffee. They have a whole set up of V60 pour overs, manual espresso machines, cold brew, and Chemex’s that produce extremely high quality cups of coffee. But what makes this whole experience something great is how much care their baristas put into the coffee. Dripp really makes sure that the customer gets the best possible cup of coffee in the best possible atmosphere.

Every one of their baristas knows that not everyone is well versed on coffee and they do everything in their ability to make sure the customer feels welcomed and is able to ask any and all questions. They really want people to come in and experience what a real coffee bar is like and to see how great a gourmet cup of coffee really is. And if you don’t want to try and distunguish flavor profiles from several single origin coffees, they have a wide variety of lattes and specialty drinks that really have to be experienced. And for those that love Turkish coffee, they have their own blend made by Espresso Republics called Black Goat that is fantastic. If you like Turkish Coffee then you have to come try it here; it’s just like your ethnic grandmother makes.

Not only does Dripp have a wide variety of pastries but they are also known for their ice cream cookie sandwhiches. They actually make all of the cookies on site and the owner Rabhi works with creameries to come up with amazing and unique flavors of ice cream just for Dripp. There is a lot of care put into this that customers can really see and appreciate.

Dripp is really worth checking out and it’s become such a hit that they are looking into opening up some new locations. In fact, you can go onto their website and there’s a place to actually request one in your city. If you like Dripp and want one in your neighborhood, tell them! If you want to buy some of their products from the comfort of your home, they have you covered. They love their customers as much as they love their coffee.

Ive loved visiting Dripp and I wish there was one in Rancho Cucamonga. But I’m willing to make the drive for something so simple as beautifully dripped coffee. Looking forward to my next visit!
