Casey’s Cupcakes at the Mission Inn in Riverside is something that needs to be experienced. The moment you walk in you’re flooded 
with delightful pink packages and the warm inviting sight of fresh cupcakes. Don’t let the name fool you though, they are way more than just Cupcakes. From back to school merchandise to delicious teas, they have got a lot going on in that shop.
The Mission Inn plays host to the flagship location of Casey’s Cupcakes and it’s elegance definitely plays a part in the entire cupcake experience. Being inside Casey’s is delightful, but taking in all the old, mission architecture that the Mission Inn holds really adds to their wonderful cupcakes. In fact, once you start to look at the entire process at Casey’s you notice how much they care about their customers. It seems that their entire philosophy is to make sure the customer has exactly what they need in order to enjoy their cupcakes the best.
It’s not just a delicious cupcake that their trying to sell you, but an experience. From the start to the finish of a cupcake from Casey’s there is suppose to be something magical about it. It’s not just a simple dessert and Casey’s takes note of that. They’ve paid so much attention to detail and their product that they actually won the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars in February of 2011.
Another great aspect of Casey’s is their rotating Flavor of the Month! Every month you can come into any of the Casey’s locations and see what new dessert creations they have in store for their customers. It’s honestly something to be excited over. And don’t worry, they always keep the majority of their cupcake flavors year round. This is great for all of you folks out there who want to have your event, wedding, party, or whatever the case may be catered by Casey’s Cupcakes. Who wants donuts when you can have cupcakes at an office party?! In fact, I’m putting in a request for more cupcakes here at the Things to do office. And for those with birthday, or kids parties, in mind, they do a “Decorate your own Cupcake party“. It’s exactly how it sounds, you get to make your very own Casey’s Cupcake!
Casey’s Cupcakes is now located all over southern California but they started in Riverside. They’re
an Inland Empire institution that’s caught the attention of the dessert world! So, if you’re looking for some amazing desserts in a fabulous setting in a historic part of the state, well, look no further than Casey’s Cupcakes at the Mission Inn in Riverside! Oh, and for all you UC Riverside students out there, make sure you stop by the HUB and see the Casey’s Kiosk on campus. Now you don’t even have to leave campus just to get a delicious cupcake. Or, if you’re out an about, try any of the other Casey’s locations all around So Cal!
