To mark their third birthday, Black Market Brewing Co. will be doing giveaways every half hour on the hour on August 11th. They will be releasing their highly sought after Belgian Quad called Quadrophenia- which at 11% alcohol content, you will certainly have to have a designated driver that day! Vendors will be selling customized Black Market flavored bratwursts, and some of the best BBQ folks will be grilling on site. Unlike most brewery anniversary events, there will not be any cover charge. There will be live music, as well as door prizes, so make sure to come early on Saturday, August 11th before the shwag and beer run dry!
In case you know little about the Inland Empire brewing scene, Black Market Brewing Co. was one of the youngest breweries ever to win Gold at the Great American Beer Festival (aka the Academy Awards of beer) in 2010. They have been garnering local and state wide accolades for their beer since then, and their Bavarian style Hefeweizen, Anglo-American Brown Ale, and Rye IPA are mainstays at fine restaurants and bars throughout Southern California. They generally have eight rotating styles of beer in their tasting room in Temecula- their Scottish Ale, Double IPA, and California Common being amongst the most popular styles at the moment.
