If you’ve ever wanted to get in touch with your inner redneck and receive a heaping helping of down-home comedic goodness, then heeeeeere’s your siiiiiign.
Bill Engvall, one-fourth of the popular comedy quartet behind the massive Blue Collar franchise, including “Blue Collar Comedy Tour” and “Blue Collar TV,” will be paying a visit to the Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside on June 23 to dish out some go
od old fashioned country wisdom.
Engvall has arguably been one of the hardest-working comedians in the business, booking tour after tour ever since he hit the big time a few years ago. His latest comedy album, a compilation of his last tour with fellow Blue Collar comedians Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy, was released in March, reaching number one on the US comedy charts and number 48 on the US Country charts. He is also set to lend his voice to the upcoming CMT cartoon series “Bounty Hunters.”
Tickets are a little on the pricey side, ranging from $33 in the balcony to $99 up front. But if you ‘re a fan of Engvall’s clean and family-friendly style of humor, it’ll be worth it.
