Batman Live – Anaheim & Los Angeles – Review

If you’re looking for fun with the family, Batman Live pitted all your favorite Batman villains against Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, and Alfred.

The cast and crew put on a wonderful display of magic, pyrotechnics, choreography, and design.  The wardrobes included bits and pieces that alluded to each of the Batman epics from the 1990s. Unfortunately, the Caped Crusaders could not defeat every villain with a short fuse as the show suffered from an extensive technical difficulties delay midway through the second act.

Overall, the show put on quite a display of action and visual wizardry.  The pace and storyline proceeded quite well until the technical problems later in the show, which really put a damper on a fantastic show.  Hopefully, they work out the kinks and get this thing humming. As this review was for the opening night show on September 5, 2012 in Anaheim at the Honda Center, we suspect they’ll work out the kinks in this high-tech show.

Check out the Batman Live Southern California Dates:

  • Honda Center, Anaheim, CA, Sept. 5-9, 2012
