The Dark Knight Rises is next year’s most anticipated film and in a few days we get a chance for an extended sneak peak of the film through screenings of a prologue at IMAX theaters across the country and at I.E. locations in Ontario and Cathedral City.

The city of Beaumont presents the Summer Concert Series at Stewart Park for 2011, free live music with big time bands like The Bangles and The Commodores.

Rockstar Mayhem Festival kicked off a summer of metal in the I.E. with a lineup that included Disturbed, Godsmack, Machine Head and Riverside’s Suicide Silence.

We are spending the end of summer with a few dozen great indie bands at the FYF Fest in Downtown Los Angeles.

Sheen was the hottest news story this past winter, and before the attention of the country shifted to topics that have a bit more gravity -military intervention in Libya, the devastating earthquake in Japan and now Osama bin Laden’s expiration (yeah its been a hell of a few months) – the San Diego Padres Single A affiliate announced the promotion of the year, “Sheen-co de Mayo,” to plenty of press and national attention.

For one day, Indio, California became the center of the metal world as the Big 4 Festival materilized for its one and only time in the United States with a blockbuster bill that featured Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer and Metallica.

There is plenty of baseball to enjoy right at home in the Inland Empire with the Lake Elsinore Storm, Rancho Cucamonga Quakes and the Inland Empire 66ers of San Bernardino.

It is that time of the year again as we get set for the Southern California NASCAR experience in Fontana for the Auto Club 400 this Sunday March 27. It is always a special event when NASCAR comes to the region, bringing with them the fanfare and excitement of motor sports action to race fans [...]
