Now in its eleventh year, the LA County Museum of Art’s (LAMCA) Young Directors Night will highlight emerging talent on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 7:30 pm. A celebration of film and the art of cinema, the showcase features seven short films screened in the unique setting of an art museum.
The 4th annual Riverside Jewish Film Festival will be held Sunday, February 19 at University Village at the recently renamed Regency Theatres.
The festival includes three feature films.
At 1 p.m. is Israel’s “Human Resources Manager,” a winner of five Israel Academy Awards including best picture.
At 3:30 p.m. is Argentina’s “Anita”, which was a centerpiece of the 2010 San Francisco Jewish Film Festival and has won 11 awards.
At 7 p.m., Canada’s “Fugitive Pieces” will be screened.
